Ignore my diatribe on "you must go to such lengths and do what you notice others are doing or talking about". It wasn't what I meant to convey. I was trying to throw Vadim Zeland-ism at your comment and went overboard.

But it's funny you mentioned flotation tank. I had dismissed that as something unnecessary right off the bat, and judged that as something you think you need to get something, but you were simply asking a question about my opinion. But after your comment, I read this blog entry from Robert Scheinfeld: http://www.robertscheinfeld.com/i-rediscovered-the-floatation-tank/ and now I'm going to try this for the very first time tomorrow morning.

In Robert's words:
'While floating, I experience what could be called “deep relaxation” and “expanded states” and also a tremendous flow of creative ideas in it. It’s super cool.'

So, gotta try this myself now.

However, as far as "ketamine", don't know what that is, so I'll need to google that. I don't think I'll be pursuing it, if it's some sort of a mind-altering substance though. I'll go as far as the flotation tank, and regular types of meditation at home for now.

Haven't heard of that Chris. I would say concern yourself with the basics of not wanting things so badly that you feel you must go to such lengths and do what you notice others are doing or talking about. Drop the importance of what you are so eager to have.. and just hold a light "what would it feel like" feeling-tone of having that circumstance now, without needing to have it for your happiness.

Thank you Suzanne, I appreciate your compliment. Yes, Doing is that part where many of us never get around to.. but remember Doing, as I'm sure you've already read about, should be the practice of dwelling on the Feeling in your spare moments.. doing, should be the switch of your attention from being negative in response to outer surroundings, to being thankful for what you have now and what you are creating. Then your natural inner voice will tell you what you should be 'doing' action-wise in your outer life to help speed the stuff toward you.
Whenever I try to do stuff, without having a natural urge to doing it, I waste time and/or money in pursuit of that thing.
 Anyway, thanks again

That's wonderful to hear. I'm still on my way. I know this information is truth but can't get that last bit quite yet-the part I actually have to "do". I have read most of what you have talked about and list the same authors among my favorites. You are the very first that interprets/discusses these materials that I like reading/hearing. I also took note at once that your web site is fantastic. It makes the most sense of any I have ever seen. Great talent!

Yes, definitely at a small and medium scale as far as actual material changes in my environment, finances, and relationships. Overall, the large scale change is in my widespread peace of mind that results from being in a non-resistant state of being.
I think if I would stop watching so many of my favorite tv shows, and reading fiction, and really listen to that voice inside that is telling me to stop doing that, and spend more time on my creative passions (which happens to be programming), I'd create a large scale improvement in my lifestyle by creating something valuable.

Have you been successful in your personal experience with this philosophy? (Small and or large scale.)

Funny you mentioned Frank's books on his Q.E., Alan
I have his Secrets of Quantum Living book and started reading it about a month ago, but then my focus has lately been into A Course in Miracles and related material. But I like Frank's form of meditation, and I think I will take this cue of your comment, and pick that book up again.
Thanks for your comment!

Hi,

I bought Telementation, haven't read it yet, but I found it in some sense similar with quantum entrainment. I read all three books from Frank Kinslow and find them inspiring and QE actually works.

So, I think that Telementation would work too, but I still need to read it through and found out. Anyway, this thing with creating things, situations, whatever, it works.

I think he's "more Buddha sounding" than most material in this genre, but I haven't read a lot on Buddhism myself. Whereas most books, especially The Secret and other like it, strictly talk about cultivating your focus on positive thoughts and keeping your vibration high, I love the way Vadim puts so much emphasis on the other side of the equation..getting readers to stop placing so much *importance* on not only a given goal they might have, but also the stuff that happens to them on a day to day basis.
